The Isoplam Type E Construction Joint is a preassembled leave-in-place joint for concrete flooring, designed to ensure proper load transfer between slabs and to absorb the screed’s thermal and hygrometric movements, keeping surfaces flush even under heavy traffic and loads (UNI 11146:2005 – section 3.3.3). Its configuration with S235 steel plates, upper corrugated combs, and knurled diamond-shaped dowel bars ensures effective anchorage to the concrete, structural continuity, and durability. It also allows for quick installation using stakes or brackets, with galvanization available upon request.
