FPAC Gallery – Francesco Pantaleone Contemporary Art, Palermo, Italy

At Quattro Canti, in the monumental heart of Palermo, the spaces of Francesco Pantaleone Arte Contemporanea Gallery(FPAC) have undergone a significant renovation aimed at redefining the exhibition environment as an essential, minimal architectural stage—capable of hosting and enhancing artworks without interfering with their expressive strength.

With the continuous low-thickness flooring Skyconcrete Indoor by Isoplam, the gallery is completed by a balanced architectural backdrop that accompanies the exhibition path without ever dominating the artworks.

Selected to support the spatial language of the gallery, Skyconcrete Indoor—a cloud-effect cement-based surface—was applied in a refined taupe tone with a matte finish. The material enhances the natural light entering through the large street-facing openings, carefully modulating reflections and creating a soft, diffused atmosphere.

The seamless surface eliminates visual fragmentation, ensuring a clean spatial reading and allowing the installations to remain the focal point of the exhibition experience.

In this way, the flooring becomes more than a neutral support: it is an integral part of the cultural experience, contributing to the balance between architecture, light, and artwork that defines high-quality exhibition spaces.
